Conklin Membrane Coating System Application
First thing we do is Power wash and clean with WAC II roof cleaner. Second step: Prime the surface with Tack Coat Primer. Third step: Reinforce seams with spunflex embedded in Rapid Roof III Base Coat or Equinox Base Coat. Fourth step: Seal entire roof with rapid roof III Top Coat or Equinox Top Coat.

With Conklin coating system the foam is so light weight about 8 ounces per square foot. It can be applied over most existing roof systems without exceeding the structural load capacity. It is amazingly strong, easily withstanding light foot traffic and other weight requirements.
Foam is ideal for going over any sound, dry commercial roof such as . . . Gravel roofs, smooth built up roofs, metal roofs, and fully adhered single ply roof.
Steps to Applying the Foam Roof
Step 1: Surface preparation – Surface preparation by pressure washing or vacuuming the roof. If you use the pressure washer, make sure that the roof is good and dry before you continue to the next step.
Step 2: Apply Foam Insulation – Apply polyurethane minimum of 1 inch of foam to the required thickness. Make sure you check all of the specifications before you start this process.
Step 3: Apply Acrylic Coating – spray acrylic base and top coat to protect the foam from the elements. This will help you roof last longer.
Step 4: Your energy efficient sealed roof is now 80% reflective UV protected. And you will start by saving on your Utility bills.
